I can be crafty too

Just to prove that Carrie and Tracie, and Jordan and Cara aren't the only crafty sisters; here are my girls modeling outfits made by me.

1st day of school

Jack and Ellie started school last Monday. Ellie was super excited to ride the bus and to go to kindergarten. Jack was a little nervous to go to a new school, but by the end of the week he was feeling comfortable. I miss having them at home during the day, and Lucy is begging to go to preschool. I can't believe my kids are getting so big!

Ski Lessons

I forgot to mention ski lessons in the update post. Jack and Ellie took lessons every Saturday this February. Jack is getting pretty good (he says he is a pro) and can go all over the mountain. Ellie did surprisingly well, she doesn't really care for being uncomfortable (too cold, tired, or wet) so I wasn't sure how she would do. She had a lot of fun and had really good control of her turns by the end. We took Lucy up one day, and she is our best two-year old skier yet! She loved everything about it, the snow, the skis, riding on the magic carpet and the lift, and she would not quit! I tried to have her skiing between my legs holding onto my poles, but she wanted to go faster and by herself. Clint and I took turns skiing ahead and letting her bomb down the bunny hill to us.

Ellie's Birthday!

Ellie turned 5 on March 21st. She wanted to have a Glamour Fashion birthday party and a Barbie cake. I had three fourteen year old girls come help me with her party and it went great! The kids got their hair, nails, and makeup done and got all dressed up for a fashion show (some of the boys opted out of the hair and makeup and just did tattoos instead). They walked/danced the red carpet for the show, then we had lunch, and cake and ice cream. We finished by watching the video of the fashion show. Ellie loved every minute. Now I just have to start thinking about Jack and Lucys' birthdays next month!

Update

Here is an update of the last few months:
We took the kids to Disneyland before Christmas. It was fun to see it decorated and some of the rides changed for the holiday. Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Cleve came with us, and we all had a blast! We didn't tell the kids we were going until we were on our way to the airport, so it was a fun surprise!

We celebrated Christmas, which was great.

There was New Years, Valentine's Day, and St. Patrick's Day with the usual shenanigans.

We are having another baby at the end of the summer, and she is a girl!

Now that I'm caught up, I will attempt to blog more regularly.
