Jack's Karate Movie

This is a movie from Jack's karate show week at Little Gym back in January. Jack would like everyone in the world to see how good at karate he is. You should all be very scared. I would not want to run into him in a dark alley!

P.S. Jack has been tongue-tied and couldn't stick his tongue out past his lips. He had a forked tongue and his lower teeth were spreading because of it. The other night at dinner Jack broke his tongue tie when he was eating a big strawberry. Look how far he can stick his tongue out now!

Happy Birthday Ellie!

Ellie turned four on March 21st. She got to celebrate at preschool and take cupcakes to the class, and go birthday shopping with Grandma Nanner before her birthday. On her birthday, she opened presents first thing and even let Jack and Lucy help her open them. That afternoon we drove down to my parents house for Easter weekend, and Ellie opened her presents from them. We had a fun Easter Egg hunt and lunch at the country club on Saturday, and went to Horton Hears a Who that afternoon. On the way home we stopped at my dad's work so the kids could ride tractors, which they LOVE to do. Sunday was Easter baskets, Easter dinner, and church in my parents' ward. Ellie got sung to in our ward last week and my parents' ward on Easter. I think she thought we were celebrating her birthday all weekend, so she was happy!
Flower cupcakes for preschool. I have made these cupcakes the last three years for Ellie. I think they're cute and are really easy, and her birthday is on the first day of spring so they're perfect!
